One of Alana's school friends celebrated her birthday at a local indoor fun zone called Surf Xtreme and Alana was invited to come along. She was so excited to celebrate with Elora as she is her "BFF".
Surf Xtreme has an arcade (pictured here), a floor to ceiling trampoline room and an indoor surfing wave. Elora's party was for the wave.
Alana had never been before, so here she is getting directions of how to ride from one of the members of the staff. (who by the way was amazing, and I want his shoes.) :)

She was having SO much fun
This was her last ride. Her determination on her face made me giggle. She wasn't thrilled with this ride because when she lost control of the board and flew up the wave she landed on her hip on the drain crate in the back. She had a nice bruise afterward, but said she would go again.
After surfing we gathered for pizza, soda and cake in a party room. The kids ate tons of pizza and just hung out and laughed and had fun.
And here's our group of sillies just before we all left. I hope she continues to establish close friendships with good kids she grows. They have all, of course, had issues with each other from time to time, but they are all still in the same class together at school and play and hang out together often.
